2024 Winternationals is approaching

With only a few days left on the calendar for 2023, anticipation is building for the annual WinterNationals at East Bay Raceway Park.
For the final time, the gates will swing open in January and February as racers from around the world will get an opportunity to etch their name in the annals of racing history. Past WinterNationals champions are a veritable “Who’s Who” of the sport.

This year, High Limit Racing will kick off their 2024 season with the “Battle at the Bay” on February 12 and 13. The two nights of 410 Sprint racing action will see the winner walk away with $10,000 on the opening night with the winner’s share jumping to $15,000 for the finale. Tickets are going quickly and can be purchased here.

The racing action opens with a practice session on Thursday, January 18 with the return of the Top Gun 360 Sprints, joined by Gladiators and V-8 Warrior/Thunderstocks for three nights of action. Week #2 is reserved for the Crate Racin’ USA 604 Late Models and CRUSA Street Stocks January 25-27 with three nights of action on tap. Each of the first two weeks will be preceded by a Wednesday practice session.

UMP/East Bay  Raceway Park Modifieds get their final swing at WinterNationals with six nights of racing starting on Monday, January 29. The Saturday finale will see a $5,000 payout awaiting the winner.

The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series will hold six nights of racing beginning on February 5. A $15,000 payout awaits the Saturday, February 10 winner. While this is the last appearance of the series in the WinterNationals, the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series will return on October 10-12 to officially close East Bay Raceway Park. The Grand Finale on October 12 will pay $50,000 to the winner as a packed house is expected for this historic event.

The High Limit events on February 12 and 13 will start the final week of WinterNationals action as the 410 Sprints will be joined by the Mod Lites. The last three races of the event will feature 360 Sprints battling for the traditional “King of the 360s” on Thursday through Saturday, February 15-17. Mod Lites will continue on those nights as well.

The 2024 regular season for East Bay Raceway Park will begin on March 16.
