MINIMUM AGES

Minimum age to race Mini-Sprints, Micro Sprints, Mod Lites, Gladiators, Outlaw 4s, Street Stocks and V-8 Warriors is 14 years of age.

Minimum age to race Open Wheel Modifieds, all Late Model classes, Limited Sprints, 360 Sprints and 410 Sprints is 16 years of age.

Minors under the age of 14 CANNOT race in any class at East Bay Raceway Park in 2022

VERIFICATION

Minors aged 14 and 15 must bring a certified copy of birth certificate proving their age.

Minors aged 16 through 18 must show driver’s license or state-issued ID proving their age.

MINOR RELEASE FORM

All drivers under the age of 18 must have the signatures of both biological parents on a minor release form before they will be allowed to race. The minor release form can be found on the website. It must be printed out in color. Each biological parent must complete a separate form with each form signed  by the minor at the appropriate location. The form must be notarized and presented at the East Bay Raceway Park pit window prior to admission to the pits.

If both biological parents will be in attendance with the minor driver, the form can be filled out in the presence of an East Bay Raceway Park employee at the window at the time of the arrival. If only one biological parent is with the minor, the other biological parent must send the signed, printed in color and notarized form.

Grandparents and step-parents cannot sign for the minor driver unless they are legal guardians. If they are legal guardians, they must also sign a form stating that.

No exceptions due to insurance regulations.

ADMISSION TO PITS

All persons, regardless of age, are required to sign themselves in at the pit admissions. No crew member, owner or family member can sign in a driver. Drivers must present proper identification.
