EFFECTIVE AUGUST 20, 2022 – Any competitor under the age of 18 must present a birth certificate to the track’s main office before entering the pit area, in addition to the minor release form. This cannot be transacted at the pit window. A photocopy of the birth certificate will be made for the track records. This applies to ALL competitors in ALL divisions.

The form below is the Minor Release Form. It MUST BE PRINTED in color and NOTARIZED or it will NOT be accepted. Any minor aged 17 and under will not be admitted to the pits unless this form is completed and the minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

It is the biological parents or legal guardians responsibility to have the proper minor release form signed before a minor can enter the pit area at East Bay Raceway Park.  If a biological parent is present at the track with the minor and signs the minor release form in front of our employee, no notary is needed. One side of the form is for the parent’s name and the other side is for the minor’s name.  Please fill this form out carefully and correctly or it will be no good.   If a minor is being brought to the track by a Grandparent, a Step-parent or any other family member or a friend, we will need a parent to complete a form  and have it notarized and send with the minor to the track.   If the minor comes without the form, they will not be allowed into the pit area.  This does not apply to the grandstands, only the pit area. If you have any questions, or if you need a copy of the notarized form to complete, please come by or contact the track office during the week.

New Minor Release Forms will need to be completed for the new year. The form which requires a notary is online for your convenience but must be printed on a color printer so the red printed areas appear where shown. If the forms are not signed in front of our designated East Bay Raceway employee, they will have to be notarized. All forms must be signed by a biological parent or legal guardian (legal guardianship paper work must be shown upon request). We do have forms available in the Main Office if you would like to stop by and pick one up or fill out in front of our personnel.

NOTE: IF THE MINOR IS INTENDING TO BE A COMPETITOR IN ANY DIVISION AT EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK, THE MINOR RELEASE FORM MUST BE SIGNED BY BOTH PARENTS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
