Keith Nosbisch Sails to Victory at East Bay Raceway Park “The Clay by the Bay”


Thursday February 1, 2018 – Tampa, FL – Keith Nosbisch sails to victory in the 25-lap feature after taking the lead coming off turn four on Lap 2 from Walker Arthur. Nosbisch thanked his wife and Genisis Shocks for his efforts. The feature saw several yellow flags slowing the field making Nosbisch earn the victory. Every restart would put Horton and Arthur side by side behind him. He held off a hard charging Doug Horton and Walker Arthur who battled for second place for 23 laps with Horton holding Arthur off to claim second, Arthur third, Steven Mathis Jr fourth, and Jack Nosbisch Jr rounding out the top 5.

Doug Horton was Fastest in Qualifying tonight with a 15.925. Heat winners were Keith Nosbisch of Valrico, FL, Cla Knight of North Augusta, SC, and Doug Horton of Wimauma, FL.

Kyle Strickler Wins Night #3 For UMP/EBRP Open Wheel Modifieds While Tim Gay Wins Street Stocks At East Bay Raceway Park

January 26, 2018 – Tampa, FL – Mooresvilles NC Kyle Strickler wins tonight’s 30-lap A-Main with Mark Whitener of Middleburg, FL finishing second almost 3 seconds behind Strickler. Finishing in the third spot was Lucas Lee of Paris, TN.

Heat winners tonight were Eric Moon of Zephyrhills, FL, Roger Crouse of Plant City, FL, Mike Potosky of Guys Mills, PA, Kenny Wallace of Imperial, MO and Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. of Ocala, FL. Winning the B-Mains were Phillip Cobb of Dover, FL and Mark Whitener of Middleburg, FL.

Top six locked into Saturdays 75-lap A-Main are Kevin Adams, Mark Whitener, Bryan Bernhardt, Shane Burrows, Jeff Mathews and Lucas Lee.

Action continues Saturday night with the UMP/EBRP Open Wheel Modifieds battling for $5,000 to win and the Street Stocks going for $1,000 to win. East Bay Mourns The Passing Of Another Driver…

It is with heavy hearts that we hear of another of our East Bay family, Jamie Burrows, passing away last night. Jamie was a driver here at East Bay for many years winning several championships here and at other tracks. His racing tradition is being carried on by his son Shane. Our thought and prayers go out to Jamie’s children Shane and Lauren and the rest of his family and friends. Rest in Peace Jamie!!!

1099 FORM INFORMATION

ATTENTION ALL EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK DRIVERS AND CAR OWNERS

We will need NEW 1099 Forms filled out for 2018. If you have MULTIPLE DRIVERS of your car/cars, we will need a from filled out on each driver. The DRIVER must complete the bottom of the form and the back. The PERSON to whom the money will be charged to must be completed at the top and signed. PLEASE make sure that you complete the section showing WHO can pick up your money. If THEY are not listed, the money will NOT be released to them. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT WORK. We must have them listed on the form and the form signed.

2017 form 1099’s will be going out next week. If you have had a change of address from what you put on last year’s form, PLEASE call this office before January 17th or they will be mailed to the address we have on that form.

2018 form 1099 is available on our website so that you can print it and have it completed before arriving. IF you have ANY QUESTIONS, call the office between 10:00 and 4:00 Tuesday through Friday at 813-677-7223.

Bring NEW Toys to donate to Metropolitan Ministries to 50/50 Building at East Bay Raceway Park

Attention all Race Fans and Drivers. The 50/50 Gang is looking to fill a race car trailer full of toys and donate them to the Metropolitan Ministries. Can bring anytime to the track, but would love to have a big finish on December 16th. Also Santa will be here on December 16th with hot cocoa and cookies for kids 12 & under. Lets show what big hearts racers have.
