Flooded conditions due to the week’s rains and more rain expected have led to the decision to cancel tomorrow’s event. The next scheduled racing action is planned for Sept. 17 with the Gary Gay Memorial for Street Stocks joined by 604 Late Models, Q Mini Sprints, Outlaw 4s and Florida Old Time Modifieds.

Due to the amount of rain received this week on Thursday and Friday and the rain expected today, East Bay officials have decided to cancel tonight’s (Sept. 3) racing program. We wish everyone a great and safe holiday weekend. Our next scheduled event is Saturday, Sept. 10 featuring Florida Late Models, Gagel’s Modifieds, Mod Lites, V-8 Warriors and Q Micro Sprints.

After waiting out a rain delay brought on by shower activity at 6:30, cars hot the track for packing at 7:40, but 10 minutes later, rains returned and cancelled the entire program.

Racing resumes Saturday, Sept. 3 with 604 Late Models, V-8 Warriors, Outlaw 4s, Q Mini Sprints and Gladiators.

Pit gate opens at 4:30, front gate opens at 5:30 and cars on track at 7 p.m.

Heavy rain moved in at 6:30 and did not let up enough to get the scheduled racing program underway, resulting in a complete cancellation.

Racing resumes Saturday, August 27 with Q Auto & Injury Medical Malpractice Attorneys Sprints, Florida Late Models, V-8 Warriors, Q Micro Sprints and Gladiators. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m., front gates at 5:30 and hot laps start at 7 p.m.

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 20, 2022 – Any competitor under the age of 18 must present a birth certificate to the track’s main office before entering the pit area, in addition to the minor release form. This cannot be transacted at the pit window. A photocopy of the birth certificate will be made for the track records. This applies to ALL competitors in ALL divisions.
