UPDATE JAN. 31 – This construction has been completed. All access roads to East Bay Raceway Park are open. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Visitors to East Bay Raceway Park are advised that construction work on a railroad crossing will create a temporary closure of a portion of Old US 41-A, an access road to the facility.

This closure will take effect Monday, January 28 with an undetermined completion date. The area affected is the southernmost entrance to the highway, affecting northbound traffic from Gibsonton on Highway 41.

To avoid the area, continue north to the northernmost point for Old US 41-A and turn. Follow Old US 41-A back to Burts Road and the entrance to East Bay Raceway Park.

The closure is not expected to impact any scheduled events at East Bay Raceway Park, but construction delays could arise. An update will be posted on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
