The hours-long battle to bring a racing program to the fans at East Bay Raceway Park ended just before 9 p.m. when the latest in a series of occasional showers brought the curtain down on the night.

Prior to the final rain event, heat races had been completed in five of the seven divisions. The results of those preliminary events will not count.

Tickets and Pit Passes from the June 15 event can be redeemed for any event in June and August.

The next event will be June 29, featuring the Florida Late Model Series with a 25-lap main event paying $1,000 to win. The Gagel’s Modifieds, Street Stocks, V-8 Warriors, Outlaw 4s, Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Micro Sprints and Studio Red Gladiators will join the action.
